WOO! Lauren, we FINALLY got you into your first pediatric appointment. Why did it take so long? Well, we’re not entirely sure what the closing hours are of the pediatric center’s phone lines, but we’ve every time we would call, we’d be on hold for at least 5-10 minutes. The first time I called (at 3pm), I was on hold for 20 minutes before finally hanging up.
Anyway, last week we tried again and were able to get through to a live person. We setup the appointment and got you in to see your doctor today. You were such a good baby. Both Mommy and I were very proud of you because you didn’t cry the whole time. You got a little fussy towards the end of the visit, but you did great with the doctor and nurse. For everyone wondering, YES, you’re growing appropriately. Some people have been concerned that you might be a bit skinny or small, but we got the measurements and you’re not only getting longer, but you’ve also gained a pound. YAY! You’re doing great. You’re still pooping and peeing, and you’re even starting to go from 2 ounces to 4 ounces per feeding session. The doctor said you’re doing so well that we don’t have to see him again for another month. You got a clean bill of health!
