Baby’s First Halloween

Last night Mommy and Daddy took you SHOPPING!  We were on the hunt for a Halloween costume for you.  We went to Target, they didn’t have much, we went to Party City, they had generic bumble bee and lady bug costumes, but we wanted something different.  We went to Walmart and looked in the baby section first.  We found an ASU onsie and we thought, “She could be an ASU cheerleader.”  Since all the skirts were too big for you, we decided we’d get the ASU onsie and make our own skirt.  Daddy found a pillow case that matched the color of the onsie almost exactly and we proceeded to checkout.  The idea was to cut the pillow case up, wrap it around you, and make it look like a skirt.  BUT, just as we were heading to checkout, we saw an ASU cheerleader outfit in your size!  It was in the front of the store with all the other ASU memorabilia.  WOO!

For your Halloween, we decided to meet up with our Church On Mill friends while they hosted Fall Festival in a neighborhood in Tempe.  We drove out there, put you in your stroller, and let everyone see you.  Everyone found you so cute and precious.  You slept almost the entire time while we were there…that was good because towards the end you got fussy and needed a bottle.  Mommy and Daddy played fun games and won candy for Mommy since Daddy doesn’t like candy.  It was a fun night, but maybe next year we’ll take you REAL trick or treating because you’ll be more alert and not sleeping.

Love
Dad
