Go Daddy Baby

Tonight was Mommy and Daddy’s first night out away alone since you were born.  The reason for us having a night out alone was because Daddy’s work, Go Daddy, was having an annual Christmas party.  We had Miss Linden and Aunt Boogie come over and watch you while we went out to our formal party.

While Miss Linden and Aunt Boogie had fun with you at home, Mommy and Daddy drove all the way out to Chase Field for Go Daddy’s Christmas party.  Like I said before, it was a formal party.  Daddy wore his suit and Mommy wore a pretty dress and coat.  When we finally got parked, we got inside with our tickets, and started looking for my coworkers.  The field was completely decorated with tables, bars, and different stations scattered on the edge of the field.  Everyone was dressed in tuxes and suits.  There was a great amount of food, good food, like steak and REALLY GOOD turkey.  Of course there were drinks, but as you know Mommy and Daddy don’t drink, so it was nice that bottled water was free.

We met up with my coworkers and I introduced Mommy to them.  We sat down, watched Bob Parsons, Jillian Michaels, and Danica Patrick hand out thousands (I’m serious) of dollars to random employees.  It was pretty entertaining.  Before the event began, we sang the Star Spangled Banner song while a real bald eagle flew and circled over the stadium.  We watched a few performers (not sure who they were because they were country singers…but they were popular) and then Mommy and Daddy called it a night.

We went back home to you and found you still such a smiley baby.  You had fun with Miss Linden and Aunt Boogie, I’m sure.

Thanks for being the greatest baby ever, Lauren!

Love,

Dad
