Lauren, as they say, “Like mother, like daughter.” You are allergic to Amoxicillin. When we went to the Urgent Care center for your cough last week, your antibiotic medicine that was given to you was Amoxicillin. Mommy is allergic to this medicine and after 3 days of taking it, Mommy broke out with a rash. It took 7 days for you to break out with a rash, but the same thing has happened to you. We noticed your cheeks getting red for a few days, but it was when we noticed your thighs breaking out that we knew we needed to see a doctor. We gave you your last dose at 6pm and put you to bed that night. You woke up at 9pm and that’s when we became concerned with your breakout. It took a while for us to research, call, and Google ANY urgent care center opened past 8pm, but we found one that closed at midnight. We rushed there, got checked in at 11:40pm and checked out on our way home at 1:40pm. We got you some benedryl and we’re hoping your rash calms down soon.
